Description

IN THIS EPISODE~ We find ourselves studying a fascinating 322-page FBI file concerning the murders of two-out-of-three organized crime figures recruited by The CIA to assist with the assassination of Fidel Castro in the early 1960s- Sam Giancana (murdered in 1975), and John Roselli (killed in 1976).
In episode #217, we start with Roselli, and follow along with the FBI and Florida law enforcement authorities as they explore very early leads and early suspected hit-men in the infamous and gruesome slaying of an infamous and notorious mobster.
Was Roselli's death tied to his knowledge of the CIA/Mafia-Castro Plots? His alleged knowledge of the operation in Dealey Plaza? Other, unconnected La Cosa Nostra business? All of the above?
PLUS--- we'll correct some recent incorrect-yet-authoritatively-stated-nonsense regarding the working-relationship dynamic between Air Force General Ed Lansdale and CIA's William K. Harvey. (The "DisinfoTrain" really never stops with this subject, does it? Amazing.)
